A Time to Remember & Pray for All Souls

Light Up the Cemetery

Masses typically held November 2 for All Souls, are cancelled due to the COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.  However, South Jersey Catholic Cemeteries invite all to place a solar light on their loved one’s grave or outside of the mausoleum to honor them in a special way during the month of November, especially those lost this year, particularly those lost during the time of restricted gatherings.  Solar lights should be removed by December 1.

Families and friends are encouraged to visit cemeteries and mausoleums and to pray for their dearly departed loved ones and all souls who have gone before us.   In honor of the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed, all diocesan managed chapel mausoleums will be open from 9 AM to 7 PM on Monday, November 2.  For more info, go to: www.southjerseycatholiccemeteries.org.
