- Mission Statement:
- “…creating a strong community of Life Disciples who will engage in private prayer, group prayer, and other activities that foster a Culture of Life and promotes a spiritual awakening to defend Life in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church.”
The Church of the Holy Family, in partnership with the Knights of Columbus, Sancta Familia Council 11498, is forming an important Parish Ministry. The Respect for Life Ministry will focus on Pro-Life issues. This is an important and necessary ministry to help promote the sacredness of every human life from conception to natural death. We are looking for individuals from within The Church of the Holy Family to become active participants in the Respect for Life Ministry through prayer, community outreach, and faith based discussions about the many Right to Life issues impacting our Nation today. Please contact Dawn Baccare – at 856-223-4717 or pray4life247@gmail.com to express your willingness to participate in the formation of and/or support for The Respect for Life Ministry. Thank you and may God Bless us all.
Church of the Holy Family Parish Spiritual Adoption Campaign
The Church of the Holy Family Respect for Life Ministry are proud to introduce the Spiritual Adoption Campaign to our Parish. What is Spiritual Adoption? Simply, your pledge to pray daily for the next nine months for a baby, known only to God; who may be in danger of abortion. We encourage you to name your spiritually adopted child as a way to stay focused on the importance of daily prayer for the unborn and the reality that your prayers will be saving a specific baby’s life from abortion. The campaign begins at ‘conception’ on this coming Wednesday, March 25, 2020 – The Feast of the Annunciation – and culminates with the ‘birth’ of your spiritually adopted baby at the celebration of our Lords birth on December 25, 2020 – Christmas Day. Each month there will be information posted in the bulletin, on Facebook, on the COTHF website, in the Aquin Center, and in the Church highlighting your spiritually adopted baby’s stage of development for that particular month. Throughout the year we will be promoting an infant clothing drive, a baby shower, and other campaign related activities.
Individual and family, young and old, all are invited to participate in this efficacious and prayerful campaign. The cost? Only your pledge to pray daily for the unborn. Pledging is easy
