Katheryn Doyle, an Associate of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, NY will be here the weekend of July 13-14 for our annual Mission Appeal.
The Franciscan Sisters of Allegany were the first community of American Sisters to have foreign missions. They minister to those in need, especially the underprivileged, the undernourished, the outcast, and the victims of injustice and violence. Funds to support5 the missions where our Sisters work and volunteer are solicited through the efforts of the St. Elizabeth Mission Society.
As a congregation, we continue to respond to the overwhelming needs of our brothers and sisters through education, health care, and social ministries in Jamaica, Brazil, Bolivia, and the States.
This appeal by Sister will take place at all Masses.
